The Broken Luna’s New Pack Chapter 07

The Broken Luna’s New Pack Chapter 07

He pressed his fingers against his temples in exhaustion, his eyes filled with red veins. Then he directly ordered his Beta to call the Royal Warriors.

Rosalie, Tobias, and my mother were all taken away for investigation.

As they were escorted out of the pack hall, the rumors about me finally collapsed on their own. Those pack members who had once slandered me all lowered their heads in shame.

Meanwhile, Damian stared at the dozens of missed calls on his phone.

Looking at the empty Alpha office, he felt as if something had tightly gripped his heart, dragging it down inch by inch.

He raised his hand and pressed against his aching chest. His eyes swept over the withered roses, the cleared desk, and finally the lucky charm that had been thrown into the trash can.

His vision suddenly blurred for a moment. It was as if something had pulled him back to that summer more than ten years ago.

The first time he met Willow, when he was fourteen. Back then, he had just been forced by his Alpha father to transfer schools, cutting off all contact with his friends.

His Luna mother arranged every minute of his life. When to wake up. When to study. When to train.

The intense studying and the demanding Alpha successor training program had once made him feel like he could barely breathe. The

only thing that gave him a moment of freedom was a tiny lop-eared rabbit.

But just a few days later, his father threw the rabbit out of the second-floor window of the pack house.

He thought the rabbit had died. He thought he would never be able to breathe freely again. Until he saw a girl with a bruised face protecting the little rabbit with her own body.

Her face was covered in injuries from her drunk father. Even opening her mouth probably caused unbearable pain. Yet she still smiled at him, “Don’t cry. It’s okay. I caught it. The little bunny is fine.”

That was when he first fell for Willow. And that was also the day he discovered she was his mate.

But looking back now, those beautiful memories, their ten years together, and their mate bond had all failed to escape the same ending.

Rejecting each other. Breaking their mate bond.

However, after the truth was revealed, he no longer had time to mourn.

The public reaction spread faster than expected. The news that Rosalie had knowingly become the other woman and then framed the original mate spread throughout the entire werewolf realm.

The old scandal of her stealing my defense strategy and using it in a competition was also dug up.

After learning that I had left the Newmoon Pack, many partners

contacted Damian and announced that they wanted to cancel their massive cooperation agreements.

Overnight, the Newmoon Pack, which had once provided defense services for countless large and small packs, suffered a dramatic decline in reputation.

The pack that had once stood at the top fell from its position.

Many clients came to comfort me, “You idiot. Alpha Damian and Rosalie did so many horrible things to you. Why didn’t you tell me? If you had told me earlier, I would have helped you get revenge.”

Yvette, a warrior serving in the Lycan Realm, frowned angrily.

I smiled, “There’s no need to waste your energy on them. Besides, I had already wanted to leave the Newmoon Pack a long time ago.”

When we talked about work, Yvette’s eyes immediately lit up, “So this time you came to the Lycan Realm because you’re planning to join us and become a Lycan Royal Warrior?”

“If you came here, that would be amazing. I’ve seen your defense plans. They’re extremely detailed and well thought out. When the Lycan King saw your proposal back then, he immediately told us to recruit you.”

But I shook my head, “No. This time, I came here because I want you to help me build our own pack.”

Yvette froze.

Just as she was about to speak, I smiled and added, “Y, you’ve been a Royal Warrior for years. Don’t you miss the days when we trained

together, raised warriors together, protected our pack, and finally hugged each other while crying and laughing because we succeeded?”

Yvette was stunned. Slowly, her expression softened. She lowered her head and let out a quiet laugh.

When she looked up again, her eyes were slightly red, “You bitch, you really know how to hit someone where it hurts.”

“So, are you in?”

She pressed her lips together, then reached out her hand, “Let me see your plan for building a pack. If it can’t convince me, I won’t give in just because of old memories.”

I laughed. Then I pulled a thick stack of documents from my bag and handed them to her.

“Don’t worry, I never fight a battle I’m not prepared for.”
