The Broken Luna’s New Pack Chapter 04

The Broken Luna’s New Pack Chapter 04

“Yes, I am crazy.”

Rosalie’s eyes were filled with hatred.

“Willow, do you know why I took Popcorn away from you?”

“Because I hate the way you always seem to have everything without even trying. Popcorn was the last thing your grandfather left you. I wanted you to know what it felt like to lose something you could never get back.”

I looked at her like she was a stranger, “Rosalie, do we really have to take things this far? Popcorn is innocent.”

Her expression stiffened for a moment, then she sneered, “Damian has already agreed to let me return to the pack as a warrior. Your beloved mate and your career will both belong to me. So, I don’t need this dog anymore.”

She suddenly let go. I almost threw myself forward, desperately grabbing the leash that was hanging in midair.

“Willow, you fell for it.”

The moment I pulled Popcorn back into my arms, Rosalie suddenly grabbed my hand and pushed herself hard against me.

Bang.

The sound of her falling down the stairs echoed through the stairwell.

Blood spread across the steps, staining the ground and turning my vision red. And that scene was witnessed by Damian and the others just as they opened the stairwell door of the pack hall.

“Rosalie!”

“The baby… Damian, save our baby…”

Damian’s face changed instantly. He rushed over, picked her up without hesitation, and ran straight toward the pack doctor’s house.

Meanwhile, I stood frozen in place, holding Popcorn in my arms. I couldn’t understand how everything had suddenly become like this.

By the time I came back to my senses, my mother had already rushed over and slapped me across the face, “You’re insane, aren’t you?! Why did you push Rosalie?! Do you know she was already two months pregnant? That child was the heir of our pack!”

“You psychopath! I knew it, I knew it. You’re just like your father. You’re both violent monsters who only know how to hurt people!”

Tobias also looked at me in disbelief, “Willow… how could you do something like this?”

Their eyes were filled only with Rosalie, the person who knew how to make them happy. And I had become the criminal who had hurt their precious family member.

The surgical lights finally went out. From inside came Rosalie’s heart-wrenching cries.

Damian walked out with a dark expression.

He grabbed my neck tightly, “Willow, Rosalie’s baby was killed because of you. Are you satisfied now?”

I struggled to breathe, but I forced myself not to let my tears fall, “I… I didn’t.”

But Damian threw me hard onto the ground, “I saw it with my own eyes, and you’re still lying!”

My hands trembled slightly, “I said I didn’t do it. If I didn’t do it, then I didn’t do it.”

“Do you really think I would personally kill my own child?”

Rosalie was pushed out in a wheelchair.

She insisted there were no cameras in the stairwell, demanded to report the matter to the Alpha King, and asked Damian to exile me from the pack.

Damian looked at me, “Leave the pack. Apologize to Rosalie. If you admit your mistake, I can let you leave with dignity because of everything we had in the past.”

I only looked at him quietly one last time, “No need. I will cooperate with the Royal Warriors’ investigation and leave the pack myself. After all, you rejected me. I can’t stay in this pack anymore, can I?”

After saying that, I turned around and walked away without looking back.

A few days later, Damian had the pack elders officially announce my crimes during the pack meeting.

The entire pack stood up for Rosalie. Insulting messages flooded my phone without restraint.

I ignored all of them and boarded the train heading toward the Lycan territory.

Several days later, at the end-of-month pack meeting, Damian stood before the pack members and calmly announced: “Rosalie Holt will officially replace Willow’s position as the warrior leader and take over all defense projects with our allied packs.”

The moment they heard the announcement, the pack members below raised their heads and began whispering among themselves.

Beta Xavier shouted from the side, “Silence!”

The entire hall immediately quieted down.

After a long silence, one envelope after another, each bearing the pack’s emblem, suddenly fell from the ceiling of the pack hall.

The pack members, Damian, and Rosalie all looked up at the letters drifting down like snowflakes.

Damian and Rosalie both picked one up and opened it.

The moment they read the contents, their expressions changed drastically.

The smiles on their faces froze instantly.
